Melissa Hampton - Melissa has been teaching the Enneagram since 1999.   Her Enneagram training has been with Don Riso & Russ Hudson of The Enneagram Institute, Helen Palmer, Tom Condon, and David Daniels.  She has taught the Enneagram to church and civic groups. Her workshops include: To the Root of the Soul through the Wisdom of the Enneagram; Finding Your Gifts through God; Mastering Change; The Enneagram goes to the Movies; and Nine Ways of Working.
 
Melissa is a skilled presenter and has been recognized for her work in front and behind the camera. Since 1990 she has been one of Georgia Public Broadcasting’s most popular on-air personalities. As a writer and producer Melissa has created documentaries; magazine programs and news features for public and commercial TV.
 
She attended graduate school at Florida State University, where as a major in Musicology she earned extra money by hosting classical music radio programs. She spent the first decade of her career behind the microphone as a classical D.J. for public radio stations in Florida and Georgia.  Eventually moving into television Melissa hosted and produced documentaries for Georgia Public Broadcasting. In 1996, when the Olympics came to Atlanta, Melissa launched an independent production company, The Media House. Since that time she has served as creative consultant, writer and producer for broadcast and corporate clients around the country. Her assignments have taken her to Europe, Russia, and across the U.S.
 
Clients include: The University of Louisville, Wachovia Bank, Fratelli Rufatti Pipe Organ Company, Home and Garden Television, The Sea Island Company, Scientific Atlanta, American Business Products, Beers-Skanska USA; the American Craft Council, Egleston Children’s Hospital, Emory School of Medicine, The Friendship Force, The Georgia Department of Education, The Georgia Council for the Arts and WSB TV Ch. 2 (Atlanta’s ABC affiliate).
 
Melissa is a three-time Emmy winner; a two-time recipient of American Women in Radio and Television’s Tara Award for Outstanding TV Talent and the recipient of the Green Eyeshade Award for Outstanding Journalism. She is also a classically trained pianist and violinist; a former member of the Grammy winning Atlanta Symphony Chorus; a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Alliance Française, Buckhead Business Association.
